basking temps

How hot can a basking temp get. Mine is around 130 degrees. Is that to hot. His log is pretty hot when I put my hand on it. I can just stand keeping it there. Is this ok.

Perfect. It is when you can't stand keeping it there that it is too hot.

my argus monitors ihave 4 they all bask at between 140 to about 155. they are all healthy and active at these temps
