i had a male for a while and got a female last week well they are mating like crazy both are argus flavi cross i built a bigger cage for them 8long 4 wide 4 tall i keep them on cypress for now till i can find out what type of dirt to use i here sand and dirt mix,,,well what should i use??so they can lay eggs??? i no you want it a foot deep or so i really want to breed them i need some cage ideas too i breed a lot of other things but never hatched a monitor egg i been keeping them as pets more less but now i got a pair and there mating so i want to give it a shot also any good web sites with info would help
