Can you Post Pictures of your Argus/monitor cages???

paine Oct 06, 2005 01:37 AM

I just got a baby flavXargus and plan on building him a good sized wood or tileboard setup. I just wanted to see if i can get any idea from your setups, and a basic idea of where to start and what they like. It doesnt have to be an argus cage but IM sure most of you know the get to be about 4 feet so, ya. Also a question for you argus owners.. I know they eat just about anything, but besides crickets and pinkys when young, is there anything else i should throw in? I have some stuff called Monitor diet from Zoopreem.. should i try that? well any thoughts on the cages and just anything about the new monitor would be awesome. thanks.

thats a top of my waters cage. I live in pittsburgh so it gets cold up here. and its built in my basement so it gets cold down there. Top was made with chicken wire, then a few coragated sheet of plastic used for siding a shed. only a few bucks for a big sheet of it at lowes or homedepot. Does a good job of keeping moisture and heat in its 12 X 6 X 6 cage, and even better job of keeping my water in the cage.
