How easy would it be to switch from live to F/T Hopper Mice on a juvenile Argus?

easier than you would believe, offer thawed mice, an argus will eat anything, and I mean anything.

Not at all trying to pick fights but I thought it was dangerous to feed still frozen rodents. Could be the "paradigm" I lived in until having alot of new(and 100x better) info come up on the forum. I've fed adult Argus and do not have a hard time believing they would choke down something still frozen...but with no health issues? cheers, big ears.

Hey thanks guys, I think its more humane to feed killed food.

I have never experienced any health issues from feeding frozen. I have had a bit of a cough lately, but I don't think it's related. haha just kidding...I only threw a frozen mouse in once just to see her (large bt) reaction. It was pretty funny. Nothing happened except she looked at me like I was crazy, swallowed it and went and basked with an irritated look in her eyes (you know the look!). She normally eats jumbo rats so a frozen mouse was tiny for her, like you or I swallowing a small ice cube.

My point was that I have found feeding FT is really really not a problem with a healthy monitor. They'll eat live, half dead, rotten, frozen, half frozen, smashed, processed, salt & peppered...hahahha they just eat and eat and eat and eat.
