Where can i buy a large bt?

I am looking for a large black throat monitor (4' ). Does anyone know where i could purchase one from or know anyone who needs to get rid of one? I would be able to provide it with the proper caging and care. Please let me know if you know where i could find one thanx alot.

Raise it, and youll have what your blood, sweat, and tears as well your husbandry was capable of producing, not someone elses care or mistakes. If you cant care for a hatchling and raise it properly, you dont want an adult someone else raised. They do not like being switched and handed around, its hard to adjust.
Of course if your after a temporary pet to intimidate, scare, or impress your friends you can always find plenty or water monitors, bosc, etc that either someone got and cant handle anymore, or just wants to get rid of.
Most people dont want to part with what they spent so much, time, effort, and money raising, and caring for. You can on occaision still find some subadult, young adult fresh imports though.
I know Id never part with my babies, my big albig especially.

I agree with everything SHvar said and it's also a joy to watch them grow up and watch them change before your very eyes.
