Any luck breeding Whitethroats....anybody?

nementh Aug 17, 2005 09:03 PM

The last two years have been pretty bad for me in the albig breeding dept. I went from albigs coming out of my ears to nothing. My females simply stopped laying. Haven't seen any real courtship in quite some time either. Oh well, thats how it goes sometimes. I think the girls are simply passed their prime. I would love to hear from others though who have breed whites and gotten eggs to hatch. I know Retes has done it many times and so has Zupich, but is their anybody else? Sorry, I've been away from the forums for a long time and don't know the latest with all of you.
thanks,
Robert Faust

Did you get some eggs?
The last time I checked, Frank is the only one now dealing with albigs breeding, Pete stopped with monitors, Pro Exotics hasnt had any recent BTs, and a few others got away from it to.
Heres one of your babies, shes doing great..

Shadow recently died, he got pretty big but his backbone bent further and further as he grew, he was a great captive, beautiful animal, I lost my cape banded right before also.

This is where my best luck has come from so far..

I didnt get the email address and other number yet.

Hiya Rob!
Long time no talk too! I am doing ok. A few people are getting eggs and a fewer less are getting babies still. R. Williams has also stopped breeding monitors in FL. Honolulu Zoo still does some breedings though.

Hope all is well...I am doing ok now -
