I finally found a black throat forum YAY!!! Ive had my Female black throat since december. I got her at about 11 inches and now she is a good 32 inches. She has alot of oranges and yellows (i would post a pic but shes in the middle of a shed right now).

Now down to business, some people would say im over feeding her she is eating about three crawlers or about the equilivent in ground turkey a day. Is that too much. Also i have her on calcium sand, has anyone found better substrate. I have her in a 30 breeder right now.

I got mine about a month ago. He was 18". I don't know when he hatched. I feed him as much as he will eat. Daily. I feed him weaned mice and day old chicks. He has taken a few adult mice but they are big. He eats alot of crickets and Hissing cockroaches. He has fattened up alot since I got him. I'm not sure on the length but he looks alitle longer than when I got him.I have him in a temporary 70 gallon aquarium but have begun building his custom enclosure. Its 75-80 on the cool end and 135 on the other end for basking. He burrows but seems to enjoy the crevices more.

First things first, stop feeding it people food, feed it whole foods. Bugs, mice, chicken peeps, ect. ect.
Get it out of the fish tank and give it a proper home, with dirt, not sand.
Go to ProExotics.com and read their caresheet and FAQs.
