It's not that I'm too lazy (or anyone else, for that matter) to give you the info you're looking for it's just that pretty much all of that info can be found from care sheets, various webpages, searches of forum posts for that species, etc...
You'll get tons more info and different points of views by doing those searches than you will from a post like this.
ProExotics.com has a good FAQ sheet on their website. Keep in mind the other names that black throats are known by: Ionides monitor, varanus albigularis microsictus, and a few more.
Also, any care sheet or info written for white throats (varanus albigularis albigularis), applies just the same to black throats.
After doing your research, if you have any specific questions, please, by all means, don't hesitate to ask. You'll get more responses by posting your Qs in the general monitor section than you will these sub-sections. I know, weird, but that's the way it is.
