cage?

pendejotheclown Jan 07, 2008 06:06 PM

I have been thinking about getting a black throat for a while now and have some questions. For a cage I would build one that is 8'long by 8'wide. Does anybody know if laminate (like the vinyl flooring in kitchens) over OSB will withstand their abuse?
Also, about how much does it generally cost to feed an adult over the course of a year?(im just trying to get a general idea of what kind of budget i would need to plan for).

Thanks

i'd assume those materials can withstand some punishment if it's built properly. black throats, even as adults, can eat daily. they have high metabolisms and are extremely active...i wouldn't be surprised if an adult would eat a full-sized chicken every day.
