would my Black throat be able to tell me apart from a random person? do they recognize thier owners?
Anyone know???
sure, when my Bosc hears my voice he come's to the cage door, or will stare at it trying to see what i am about to do. My black throat on the other hand will here or see other people and not respond at all, but if he hears or see's me he will stand on guard ready 2 whip his tail bcause he hates being touched, and i'm the only person that has any type of interaction with him. so yes, depending on how long you have had it, eventually the animal will recognize you.
And little else, maybe a bit more if it learns to trust you beyond that someday (maybe, maybe not).
