Progress report on my baby

Just thought I would update on the baby nile I produced from my high yellow pair.

Adult pair

Baby (shortly after hatching)

Congrates! Keep up the good work. The hatchling is beautiful! How many days did the egg incubate. I would bet 140-145 days and 84F. What was the nesting medium?

down below in another post you can see the parents, nest, copulation, etc.

It hatched at 134 days on perlite and at 86 degrees. around 88% humidity give or take.

The female laid under a palm frawn about 16 inches down. The substrate is dirt, leaf litter, mulch mixed.

Thanks, still waiting on my female argus to decide what she is doing.

I'll try and update on the other nile soon. he/she is also very nice looking very cool patterned.
