if you want a healthy bt that will provide you with years of companionship, and that you wont have to worry about parasites and other health problems, i wholeheartedly recommend you to purchase a bt from a trustworthy breeder, not from a pet store and most certainly not from an importer. please make sure you purchase a captive born skink rather than support the importers by buying one of thier cheaper but sickly blue-tongues. i acquired my skink from james wilson a little over a month ago, and he is the best pet ever. he eats like a pig and is very docile and i handle him every day. every time i look at him i can literally see how healthy he is. james' email is tiliquaman@aol.com. if he can't personally sell you a skink for some reason, he will surely be able to give you the names of several trustworthy breeders here in the U.S. hope this helps.
