Generally Males can breed at 18 months and Females 2-3 years depending on thier size. You can pump males up pretty easy to breed in that length of time. Just make sure you cool them down thier 1st year.

fantasyreptiles has it right, generally 18 mos minimum for males, 18 mos min for females, 30 months should be a sure thing for females. I like tos ee my females weigh at least 400 grams before going into the cooler prior to breeding. Males are often smaller than that when breeding, but the exact mix of size and age is not a complete science: I once sold a pinstriped hypo to a fella who bred it at about 10 months, the sperm counts in samples were very high but the yield was low, only around four babies,i recall, from about as many females. I've also had a few two and three year old males that failed to breed or did so very, very marginally.
