I currently have a pair of asian water monitors. They are both about 2 feet in length. They are currently housed in a fifty gallon fish tank. I am building a new house and plan on constructing a 10 x 15 foot inclosure with an outdoor access area for them to bask with a pond and filtration system. I live in Florida so it should be plenty warm for them most of the year. Of course I will have ample light and heating elements within the enclosure. My question is at what size can I introduce them to an enclosure this size and is it a bad idea to have the outdoor section of the enclosure.
