ghost_pit2001 Jan 09, 2006 05:57 PM

well a friend of mine had a water monitor till today when i traded for it,i have had waters before but not like this,it has no pattern just yellow spots like a speckled do all waters turn this way as adults?I must also mention she is less than 3 feet total lenght tail and all,and she is laying viable clutches, she breed with a male and laid 6 eggs, which all hatched out some wicked looking waters,so does anyone have any idea if this small water is some local specific or dwarfism,or what the deal is on him, also what price does speckled adults fetch i am going to be looking for adult male

Actually most of my waters have started cycling and dropping eggs at around the 3 foot mark. So that really doesn't mean it is a dwarf of any kind. If it has small yellowish specks scattered on a solid background then it is probly a speckled (sulawesi) water monitor. Posting a picture would be the easiest way to confirm what you have.
