well since no one posts anymore, Ill attempt to keep this forum alive, if anyone has any questions I will be more than happy to lend my expertise the best I can. I currently have a royal python, 2 savannahs, and a bile, and honestly I am most happy wiht my nile purchase, hes the most energetic little thing ive ever had, and hes oozing with personality. I have named him Aryes, God of war.

Well I've put the down payment on a baby Nile and I want to start work on its adult/juvi enclosure now before it even thinks about out growing the 55 gallon tank I have now. From what I've read on the net, here is my plan 8'l x 4'w x 6'h. I plan on making a 2'l x 4'w x 1.5' deep pond with plumbing for easy refilling with the rest of the ground area bing 6'lx4'w x 2'd soil substrate for burrowing. That will leave 4' of area above the soil/pool. As for the doors will a good grade steel mesh keep a claw clipped Nile at bay?
