Adult Water Monitor - Taz

rsvr_si May 24, 2006 01:51 AM

Just thought i would post some pictures of my boy since i haven't been on here in a while.
He is ~7+ ft and ~70 - 80 lbs and 7 yrs old. It's hard to believe that he started out fitting in my hand and now his head barely does.

He's really good in the backyard as long as he is watched. I'm not sure my neighbors would like him stopping in for dinner. One of them already called animal control because they thought i had an alligator

This is an older picture of him, so he's a bit bigger in the tub now

Awesome One day I hope to have a pair of large waters. For now I will stick with what I have due to time, money, space, etc. For now I will stick with medium sized indo monitors.

Yep, they sure do take a lot of money, time, space and fixing everything that they break. Eventually you give up with trying to make the enclosure pretty since they thrash it so quickly.
