Nile growth ???

i'm thinking about purchasing a nile and was wondering how fast they grow?
how big will a nile be at 1 year?

If kept in optimum conditions, Nile monitors that start life at ten inches long (typical) can be 36" or more by the end of the first twelve months. These animals if kept properly will eat nearly every day and grow amazingly fast.

If fed properly with the right temps and plenty of room to move very fast. I have one thats about 8 months old and its over 3 feet.
