Hello,
I live by Chicago in Skokie. I am raising Water Monitors.
I am starting to see that the hotter the environment the better they do.

I am about 80 miles southwest of the city. I want to try to put together a monitor society if there is any interest. the chicago herp socitey is great but too hard to make meetings.

How many waters do you have? How long have you been working with waters? How old are your waters? Sorry for all the questions. Just want to learn as much about different monitors as possible.

Currently I only have one. I have kept up to five. They are easily my favorite animal. I have been keeping them for about 20 years now and it is still as rewarding as it was the first year.
