I am intrested in buying a pair of savanas. they are just hatchlings now wongering how long till they are 2 ft and how long till they are 4 ft stuff like that.

Be careful housing the two together. I have heard of many people who do it and advise to if you ever want to breed. I did this with the two little ones we purchased 2 months ago, come to find out the "guy" was biting and attacking the "girl" she has lost part of two toes and it looks as though she is going to lose another 2-3 tips. Just a warning, we noticed the one two appeared to be broken, then one day I walked in the house and he had a hold oh her ankle, shortly after that(same day) he attacked her neck and would not stop so we had to seperate the two. As to the growth question there is no set time every monitor is different. Our little ones were barely 5" when we purchased them and now a little under two months they are a little over 9" so do the math. Th most important questions are: is there cage heated properly, are you feeding the right foods and enough of it, will they have fresh water a few times a day? These are all questions. I have a two year old and he is 33" we purchased him when he was about 17". My big girl was also 17" when we purchased her and she is now 26" and we have had her for 7 months. Below is a picture of our male when he was 32" since then he has filled out in his width all over his body.
