I just bought a Savy monitor lizard yesterday. I hope I made the right the decision because I could have gotten a Nile monitor for only $ 49.99, but instead, I got the Savy. He was $ 39.99. At first, I wanted to get a Nile, but I've read that they can be hard to handle because their tendency for aggressiveness, even the tame one, and that you should have well stocked first aid kits around all the time when dealing with the Niles. Anyway, my savy is a good looking savy...big, healthy and strong, and I got him from a reputable store. They always have good animals at this pet store.
