there really aren't any captive bred Savs. there is no need when they wholesale for $5 each.

There is/was that one fella thats had a handful of clutches in the last couple of years. He used to post here regularly. I am not sure if he still keeps them or what.

He may have fallen for the "run out" syndrone. That is, he like a couple others have a single female multiclutch a year or two then stop. And they don't seem to be able or have interest in raising backups. They also don't seem to be able to support the females for more then a season or two. I am not saying this happened, but its common. He just seems to have disappeared.

This poster did ask if there was/is a breeder and I guess he fall/fell into that catagory.

But other then him, I do not know of any captive breeders.

Oh he may have finally realized people would not pay enough to continue breeding Savs. When they are advertised for $17 retail, here on KS.

But considering the big picture, you are right, there are no captive hatched to be obtained. Cheers

are you talking about Ravi? he was having some success, but economically, i don't think it was worth it. plus he is in Canada, making it nearly impossible (economically) to ship.

for all intents and purposes, no Sav breeders : )

I wish I had a better memory for human stuff. Hes from the states, he is a real nice fella. It was one of these step by step things posted on here.

Unlike Ravi, he did hatch several full clutches. He also posted them on KS classifieds. hahahahahahahahaha Dang it, whats his name.

Maybe someone else here with a better memory for human details will help us out. I am interested to see how his success is going. Thanks

had the initials JC or something to that effect in it. I can't remember for certain though. I do remember looking at his website and pictures of his breeder savs, I just can't recall his name.
