He is currently going through shed and I was wondering if someone could help me out wiht a few things. Does he need anything to assist in shedding such as rocks? Also should I give him a soak now just to help him out? And my finale question is how long should the process take.

Mine took a long time to shed, like, maybe a little over a week, maybe two. They shed different parts of their body at different times, so they shed in patches, not all at once like snake. You can give some water dish large enough for him to soak in. I always see mine soaking in the dish, and it helps them during shedding.
