Savannah questions

devildriver Sep 06, 2006 12:44 AM

About 2 weeks back or so, after doing about 5 months worth of research and thinking whether I could give a Savannah a good home I finally purchased a guy that's around 7-8".
He's in a temp smaller home right now(40 Gallon) while I'm working on the enclosure in my father's shop(he's got all the right tools, so why travel more than I have to?)
Anyway, he has a hide on the cooler side, a warm side, and a perch for basking which was 127 degrees on last measure.

I've fed him crickets and pinkies since I got him, and he's been eating at least one pinky every day up until about this week. He seems to no longer be interested in them. He's eating crickets by the dozens, though. Is it possible he's lost interest from boredom?
To also note, he is pooping normally and said poop has been looked at by a vet around here. Found clean.

He's fine. I'd suggest just trying different things to keep him interested and feeding. Roaches, silkworms, etc. All reptiles can be finnicky.
