Kicksome123 Oct 28, 2006 07:21 PM

I have a savannah monitor basically a baby. He isnt eating and I offer him baby mice and crix. A while back he wasnt paying attention to crix so I went to mice. He used to eat them easily now he wont eat anything at all. Is there something I can spray on the rats to make him think there food, I dunno just an idea. Please help me, he hasnt eatin in like 2 to 3 weeks...

it's not the smell of the food or the taste of it. most likely you have him living in unfavorable conditions. what is your ambient temp, basking temp, humidity%? post a picture of its cage.

Well what r the living conditions temp or humdiity my be too low and if temps not right they will not eat the will basicaly sleep . But if u need him to eat somthing for a pick up my rep her in fl which is a whole univerity of Uf its huge and advance they sugessed i give mine hill science puppy canned food nothing esle nothing as in brands or adult or cat food just hill science puppy can food .it has a lot of protien and fat u can roll them in litt balls but dont use long term it can cause liver probs in long term use also can be offered as varity but not staple food. I hope things r good good luck!
