sav. monitor diet

monitorman24 Jun 11, 2007 03:57 PM

hello all, in trying to improve the life of my rescued monitor friend, i am trying to provide a more complex and balanced diet, i am open to suggestions on a daily diet that will not only allow him to gain weight and provide the right vitamins and minerals to sustain him and allow him to thrive in his new home. Thankyou for your valuable advice and insight!

I would forget the word complex and just go with what works.
But..... without knowing what kind of shape the critter is in, what the set up is like, it's hard to give advise.
I have always fed the rescues that come to my house lots and lots of dusted roaches before introducing mice.
Now, most of these were malnurished and dehyderated, so I also bumped up the humidity and made sure they had good hot basking sites.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
