Hypo Sav Q

azreus1 Jul 02, 2007 11:17 PM

I have a young juvi sav that is said to be hypo by my local herp shop owner. He immediatly wanted to purchase him from me but I dont really wanna get rid of him, hes too cool. I was just curious as to how much a hypo sav is worth, because the shop owner never mentioned a price. I will get some pics in the morning to post for anyones opinion on whether he is truely a hypo.

Theres no difference from the colors of any bosc monitor other than one being darker or lighter (originating at whatever altitude or location). Unless you find on of the few REAL albinos.
Also every bosc is lighter, brighter, and more colorful as a baby, when they grow up they get dull, dark, and drab.
If someone wants to pay a high price for what they think is a hypo, by all means, sell it and buy 5 others, they are after all available in any color they come in at around $2 -$5 each if you know where to look.
Its about time someone can return the favor and take advantage of a petsore, rathet than be taken advantage of by them.
I saw many snakes sold as hypos over the years, they also were just younger versions of the adults sold for lower prices.
