Orange and Purple Savanah?

Tumtum03 Aug 24, 2007 09:49 AM

I new here guys to Savanahs, but don't worry I've been doing my research. Well the other day I was at a near by pet store and I saw they had a baby savanah for sale for $20 bucks so I asked to see it. Well to my surprise it was orange and purple which I had never seen before in these guys. I've always seen the different shades of brown no matter the age. I was curious is this rare or is it pretty common in these guys and I've just not seen it. Any comments I would appreacite it. Heres a couple shoots I took even though its in the middle of shedding.

they are colorful like that when they are fresh from the womb which means young. the color fades with time just like the paint on a 1969 mustang. i think. im pretty sure i will be corrected if i am wrong :/

but thats my input.

i take it you bought it then? it is pretty. i likey.

That is a very colorful sav. Great pickup.
The color is not due to it just being out of the egg.
This one is well past hatchling size and is still very colorful.
