I am experienced with snakes but new to monitors. I would like to acquire one as a pet, but am doing some research before I do so. I have been hearing that feeding them "turkey diet" is much preferable to feeding them rodents because their bodies cannot handle the high fat content of rodents. What exactly, is this "turkey diet", and what are your experiences/opinions on feeding savannahs? Thank you for your help/opinions.
