When to start feeding rat pups

dingchavez25 Feb 06, 2008 02:28 PM

I have a 1 year old savannah and he just chowed his way through mice fuzzies. I was wondering when I should start him on rat pups or even if I should feed him rat pups to begin with? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Hey I am new to the whole savannah monitor thing but you gave me some advice so I figured I would do what I could for you. When I went to go get food for the little guy today I asked as many questions as i could. The answer I got for rat pups is if it fits in its head it can be eaten. Rat pups are much better than mice as for as nutrition goes, I know this from snakes.
