wow yours does look alot bigger than mine...do you know the gender of yours? i got mine back in may when it was about 6 inches long and right now it measures in at about 20 inches head to tail.

this is her being crazy. i call it a 'her', but i really do not know the gender. lol

Yours looks like fun! I dont know the Gender. I was hoping it was a female... i named it Samone.. but im starting to think its a male.. Who knows??

From what i have been told the males have a very prominent bulge especially as they get older. I know if you can observe them as the deficate you will see the bulge for sure if its a male. I have had mine for just under a month and i was told he is 6 months old and already measures almost 13". There is one from the same batch as mine that is about 2.5" smaller and one that is about 4" longer. I have no clue what determines the size 'cause mine is in a huge enclosure and eats very well where the other two I mentioned are in a 20 gallon at the pet store.

"She's" looking good.
Look at the snout, the eye and nostril placement.
I don't see any bulges worth noticing, so I am saying female.
Get Bennetts book, it shows the difference and worth reading.
