I was just playing around with my camera and snapped a couple of pics of an '08 Abbott okie.One pic with the flash and the other without. Jeff

The pic with the flash fills in the color a lot better.

Are you using a diffuser of some kind?

I do a lot of herp photography and enter photo contests on a regular basis. You'r doing a good job of using that flash without 'washing' out the colors of the snake.
