Looks like we proved her genetic

We imported this female banded/reduced pattern from africa in one of our last shipments about 4 years ago. She was bred last season to our Goblin (RDR line Yellow BellY) and produced a few "normal" animals that had her head marker and the same pattern as the mother along with some normals a few Yellow bellies and 1 female YB that showed the markers and pattern of mom. So we thought it was interesting and decided this year to breed her to our spider to see what freaky thing might pop out as we love the reduced pattern spiders we have seen but none of them have been genetically reproducable. Well this clutch has pipped and we have 5 spiders and 3 "normals" So far 2 of the Normals are out and show the head Marker like mom and the same pattern banding as mom and 2 of the spiders in the egg look like they have almost no pattern to them at all. I am so excited now for everyone to get out of the eggs it is driving me nuts. This is the stuff that makes breeding balls so much fun. Here is a pic of the breeding last season as well as one of this season. Also attached is one of the female YB that is from last seasons breeding. The females pattern is not super different but who knows what the "super" (if there is one) might be. Let me know what everyone's thoughts are.

Looks really nice.. I can't wait to see the spiders. You'll have to keep us updated on the quest for the super.
