i found a mealworm pupae in my mealworm supply once and i had fed it to my baby leo thinking it was a phoenix worm put into the case on accident.("blushes"

are they ok to be eaten? i dont know if this was a fully pupa or anything because once i picked it up with tweezers, it convulsed and was more wriggly than any mealworm ive ever seen.
