hours of lighting

whats the earliest the lights can go on at, i used to turn them on at 8:30 but now i got school again so i gotta get up at 6 and leave to catch the bus by around 6:50, i turn on the light when i elave, is that to early? and another thing, does anyone else use an infrared light for night time, i just started using one cause i woke up the other morning and it was 68 in his cage. i hate the waether here lol goes from aobut -1 in the morning to about 25-30 in the aftenoon(thats celcius)

And as far as the infra red night light, guess its up to you. I personally never heat any of the tanks at night. Room temperature is fine. We keep out heat at about 68 all winter. Night heating is really NOT nessesary. It gets cooler in the desert at night. Save your money turn it off. LOL Eve
