Are thinner almost vanishing saddles generally more desired?
I realize different snakes may fit into different projects, but marketability wise which one is generally more desired...thanks!

I DO like the thinner saddles, but I like for them to be defined as well.
I also like them when they connect.
Arabesques are great!

Great I'm glad Aaron posted a picture of his Arabesque. We all have our opinions likes and dislikes about every Boa or Boa Morph. In respect to the Arabesque Pattern Morph. Or what I consider my perfect Arabesque. I personally Like thin saddles but not too thin. They must have that cryptic lighter type pattern with in the saddle itself. Plus if they have tiny little peaks or soft peaks that can be good also. The pattern has to be connected the entire length of the boa. Although connected pattern can be disrupted do to the Hypo trait. I'm talking about a perfect Arab though so, connected pattern with laddertail , probably striped towards the end. The Laterals or medallions as I like to call them should be connected forming a Lateral stripe. Some speckling is desirable but not too much. Also a lighter cream and/or some what colorful base color is desirable for me.

This boa's pattern and spots is mezmerizing...It blends into itself....Awesome.
I've got a range of looks within my arabesque litters. I wouldnt necessarily say the thickness of the saddles made any of them more or less desirable.
Contrast, pattern, body color, head markings, and washout are the primary factors IMO. If thick or thin saddles aid in the overall look of the arab then yes, they'd make it more valuable. But again, thats all subjective.
Is washout good or bad?
In ALL Different looks.
Here are a few of mine and some that got away here

Sorry for the,,many pics,,,,i am an ARAB fan.

Simply WOW... Amazing collection of Arabesques...
I think its all down to personal choice , i dont personally like arabesques with thin saddles and much prefer them with a bold pattern like my one below , i also think the ones with bold patterns will look better in the albino form

Subjective is right. Arabesques are one of my favorite morphs. I'll one of the first to line up on the side of dark, narrow saddles and light speckling though

I can appreciate any Arab, but I prefer the Arabs with heavy, dark patterns and lots o' speckles

I like the thin saddles and chose the female I have on the basis of that. The male I hope to breed her with is a very thin line columbian, I believe they'll compliment each other well.
However, I agree with Sharpman about the morphs. Some albino arabs, it's hard to tell it's an arabesque. But with thicker saddles it seems more obvious.
As the others said, it still comes down to what you like, that's what you should always go with.
