Axanthic Pastel question

oc-balls Sep 10, 2008 06:30 PM

So - i'm trying to teach myself Ball Python genetics.

Would (could) a Pastel x Axanthic produce:
50% Het Axanthic
50% Pastel - Het Axanthic

Then - would (could) a Pastel - Het Axanthic x Axanthic produce:
25% Het Axanthic
25% Axanthic
25% Pastel - Het Axanthic
25% Axanthic Pastel

I think/hope i'm getting better at this...

Thanks for any and all help!
Ken

That would be your odds!

Funny thing is the odds never end up how you think

I had a total of 15 eggs in that combination and got the following:

6.1 het Axanthic
1.1 Axanthic
2.1 Pastel het Axanthic
1.2 Pastel Axanthic

But with a 1.2 of Pastel Axanthics I'm not complaining that much
