M high white banded X F blizzard results

Lostsorrow Sep 10, 2008 08:19 PM

Hi all,

A friend of mine said I could use his high white banded male cali king to see if I can get a clutch out of my female blizzard. I was wondering if anyone had any experience in this or would know what the possible results would be like. Any clues would be great. Thanks for your time.

You would get babies that are 100% double hets (albino & hypermelanistic). The pattern may vary from banded to aberrant.

I am such a noob when it comes to this stuff so the double het albino thing you stated I dont't understand. In noob english are you saying that i will get some blizzards, some banded and possibly a few splotchy banded ones? If you could explain what the meanings are between het etc.. would be great too.

You will get normal looking that are het for albinism and het for hypermelanism.
