A Couple of ?'s

bigwill0630 Sep 11, 2008 12:53 AM

Anyone ever vacume in there snake room? Does it have any affect on the snakes? The lucy's do they have any problems with laying eggs/getting them up to size to lay? Anyone know a better place to put ASF besides a 20 gal tank? Getting tired of hearing the water bottle bang the side of the tank. Already tried tape with cotton but they just ate through it.

Thanks
Will

I vacume my herp room regularly. no problem.

For ASFs, take a deep rubbermaid and cut out the middle of the top, cover the opening with hardware cloth, held in place with wire ties. You will have to replace a wire tie or two every month or so. then drill a hole in the side just large enough for the end of your water bottle and mount the bottle on the outside of the container.

I can answer the one question, and agree with above, that I vacuum my snake room regularly as well and it doesn't bother them. Have to get the bedding off the floor and out of the carpet somehow )
