Surinames Born.

madisonrecords Sep 11, 2008 10:30 AM

We would like to thank our friend Bryan Mayne for giving us the oppurtunity to work with the Surinames that he took so much pride in.

The Sharp Suriname just had another 13 perfect and extraordinary Suriname babies.

She was gravid when we got her and we just gave her what she needed the last three months for her to do her job.

This is her second perfect litter in 12 calender months and she is not quite six foot and her pre birth weight was around 8 pounds maximum.

A true testimony to raising them slow and keeping them moderate in size.

She looks great to just had her second litter in 12 months and will probably not need more than a couple of months to regain her weight.

Good breeding females are not a dime a dozen and she has more than proved herself and will be here for her life.

Thanks, John J

Joel_Thomas Sep 11, 2008 03:02 PM

Yeah I gotcha, do you think we can enlist his services for the future? Ha!!

Terrific John, Looks like there are some "peaky" little ones there!!! can't wait to see some pic's in a couple of weeks.
Be well
Joel

madisonrecords Sep 11, 2008 12:22 PM

Ya, just got through cleaning around the cage and getting them motivated.

The patterns are even more consistant with this litter and the tails are " of the chain! "

Average tail bands with these guys is nine huge ones and their are some with 10 and a couple with 11 and one with 12 huge bands.

Great B.C.C. are definately not a surplus these days and we have been very priveledged to be able to locate and work with some great Locality Boas and we hope that all of us that love B.C.C. can contribute to bringing our Market back to the Glory days and demand good prices for good quality and hard work.

Regardless of our differences, we all love these Boas to work with them and much appreciation goes out to everyone in their endeavors and we hope to soon be able to contribute some of our own Bloodlines to the community once again.

It takes allot of dedication, to produce these B.C.C. and keep them healthy.

People like Gus and Mark Damico and Vin Russo and now Dank throwing his second litter and Ceniceros and Eckert and a few others out there, have shown exactly were dedication and passion can lead.

May we all meet in the middle and help to contribute to a worthwhile cause of producing these incredible Locale Boas.

As my old buddy Marlon use to say; " There is no Beauty, like the Beauty of a True Red Tail!! "

congratulations john, those babies look awsome, great job, did you pair her with the same male as last year?
greg c

madisonrecords Sep 11, 2008 01:04 PM

Yes, Bryan paired them with the same male, but this Litter took their own path and the results are great.

Congrats, great looking litter John, I can't wait to see the individual pics off all of them. Are any of your peruvians looking like they're getting close to dropping? Take Care, Nick

madisonrecords Sep 11, 2008 01:33 PM

Nick, the Peruvians are not looking to promising this year.

I have one girl that may do it, but not counting on it.

The males almost bred themselves to death and the females all swelled up, but it is looking like they desired not to ovulate and just reabsorb their follicles.

Nature of the Beast and regardless, there is always next year and more time to get them conditioned to my regime.

If we get a litter of Perus, it will be a " Trick Litter " for sure, but I would take it, as my females are what I always desired to work with " as far as the really inky black ones " and it would be nice to see some squirmmies for sure from them.

Thanks, John J

Here are a few individual shots.

These guys are really superb and all of their little inky markings, just make them even more beautiful to me.

Cannot wait to get great pictures of them once they shed.

Thanks, John J

The one in the middle pic of your first post "few more" The dark lining around the fading saddle color is very cool!! Let's see what that one does, I think it would like to come and see Kansas city Ha!

Brother, you know you got game with me!

However, you must remember your RedNeck buddy this Season, when these babies dad, breeds that eckert female that I sold you!

That will be a litter, that will blow out many Brain Noodles and also have me vomiting knowing they could still be here, LOL!

I know you will do well with them and contribute much to our Beloved Hobby.

Just remeber to make people take out second Mortgages to be able to get them LOL..........JJ

nickstone Sep 11, 2008 02:01 PM

I really like that dark outline around the saddles too. It really sticks out. I really like how big the heads are on all those little guys too.

madisonrecords Sep 11, 2008 02:03 PM

Only one baby, is just slightly smaller than the rest.

For such a little Momma, her babies are really good size and yes, Huge Heads!

Thanks, John J

Joel_Thomas Sep 11, 2008 03:10 PM

I am piming the "baby pump" right now I have added just a touch of weight and crossing my fingers hoping I can still remember to just stay out of the way and let them do their thing.
If I can produce with her I might keep them all LOL...
I am with you that quality cost money!! I will charge you big Franklins if they come!!
Joel

madisonrecords Sep 11, 2008 04:31 PM

Absolutely!

Just do not let your fingers get too sticky as I would definately want a pair.

I am keeping two of last years and probably at least a couple from this litter.

So, it would be great to see some of their half siblings make it this way.........JJ

Joel_Thomas Sep 11, 2008 04:38 PM

You got it!
Be well.

Congratulations! Adam

kitchi Sep 11, 2008 06:26 PM

They look great John. This is the 4th litter that I have seen that has the male breeders blood in it and that line consistently throws peaks as well as any other line out there. Take care.

madisonrecords Sep 11, 2008 06:41 PM

everyone else.

I love all the little subtle makings as not everything has to be clean to me and prefer it that way.

Mike, I have my fingers crossed that you still have " a rabbit in the hat " to pull out this season and blow our minds again.

Good quality B.C.C. are surely not a surplus these days.

Thanks, Ash.

However, these do not look anything like the last litter.

They really took their own path and after shed, I will post pictures and you will see what I mean.

I love every one of the last litter as they all represented everything that I " personnally " love in a Suriname.

These went even further beyond and more consistent, were the other litter was much more variety, wich is also nice.

Take Care, John J
