Um... slightly odd question?

pspguy Sep 05, 2003 08:54 PM

I bought 2 geckos at the Raleigh reptile show. I have them in quarentine together since I bought them together. They are male and female, and have been acting rather strangly. I would say neither of them could possibly weigh more then 20g if that much... is it possible for them to breed, because I definately don't want that.

Easy solution - two cages.

I wouldn't push it - and I'd hate to see you have problems. I have a prize stripe - 2 years old - great breeding weight - EGGBOUND - and you DON'T want to go through that pal.

I'd separate them.

Hi

I would seperate them. At 20g, I would say they are about 5 months old approx., and at that age the male can start to be sexually active.

For breeding, and the well being of the female, I would say, don't breed her until she is at least 34 grams minimum for her sake.

Sincerely, TLB
