breeding rat question?

is it ok to leave two mom breeders in the same tub? will one mom kill the others babies?? thanks!

If they were already together you should have no problems. Just don't add new animals, sometimes they toss them around pretty hard when first put in with a group.

if you introduce females to each other I would not recommend doing it when one or the other is close to birth, introduce them under some more balanced circumstances. They should be fine one will most likely prove domince as previously stated they can get ruff but it should be fine.

Also on a side note a male can be in with the babies as well with no harm but mom can get pregnant as soon as she pops out what is in her. If you space the pregnancies out with a month or to it is healthier for the females but that is your call. It has a lot to do with how much you care about momma. Sounds cold hearted but lets face it you are raising this guys to kill their babies. Depending on the size of some of your snakes you may even let momma breed for a year or so and then let her find out where the kids a went.
