Building a next stage home for my spectacled and found a preformed kidney shaped pond that is like 1 foot deep and has a ledge at one end. My caiman is about 1.5 feet is it to deep or is it good for him to be able to dive.

Where do you live? Will the pond be in direct sunlight? In the south, in direct sunlight, that is not deep enough imo.
