Red Ackies, Any one have experience with sexing them?

Ok so I know it hard to sex them, but is there anything I can look for? I have a beautiful trio that I got about 1.5 years ago, they are happy and healthy, never had any problems with them. 2 are larger than one but that one has always been a bit shy so it could be because he/she does not eat like the others. The larger 2 are always in the feeder cup before i can get it in the cage LOL

A male has a big wide broad head, bigger thicker tail base, and is in general bigger. There is minute differences between the sexes in the spurs by the base of the tail.
The best way is to see a male and female together to sex them. Usually it doesnt take much with any ackies over 6-12 months in age to know if you have a pair or trio (male,female,female, etc).
These guys breed pretty easily with the basics in husbandry covered and a good supply of food.
