Like Little Jewels

Jeff Clark Sep 14, 2008 01:02 PM

Sometimes when handling new baby BRBs they seem like little jewels.

This first one is from my 9/5 Jari litter and has not shed yet. She will probably be dark even after she sheds.

This next one is a typical baby from my 8/26 Caat99F3 litter. All of them from this litter have eaten at least two meals and shed once. They get better and better color each time they shed through their first year or so.

This next one is a dark baby from the 8/26 Caat99F3 litter.

This one is a bullseye male from the 8/26 litter. There were two out of the 27 in the litter with bullseyes like this.

Hopefully the babies above will color up like this one. In 11 months he has eaten 41 meals and shed 7 times. Most of my BRBs have eaten 60 meals and shed 8 to 10 times and grown much larger by this age.

Very nice Jeff. I especially like the Bullseye male. Was the other Bullseye in the litter male as well?
