College BP

I just put in a deposit for my first Ball Python today, he's a one month old well-started High Yellow Pastel male from NERD lines (possibly a Lemon by the blushing on his head, I'll get pics soon). He's a steal at $150. I'm thinking this will be the start of a beautiful addiction

I want to bring him to college and keep him in a Rubbermaid (or two as he grows) for the first year of his life, then next year I'll be in off-campus housing and won't have to worry about hiding him so much. Either way, if he's found out I just get a warning from the RA and I have a week to move him out to my parents which is only 45 minutes away, they're taking care of my BRB and my Leopard Geckos so it's no big deal.

I plan on using paper towels, plasic containers for humid hides and the occaisional toilet paper tube for other hides. My only question then is about the rubbermaid, what's the best/most secure kind? Also is a UTH okay to use with it, or will that melt the plasic?
