I'm not in Houston, but live in Port Arthur. I evacuated to north Louisiana. Port Arthur has a 16 ft. seawall and the storm surge was 15 ft. I have been told that my house has moderate damage from the wind, but no flooding. Thank God! Electricity will be out for as long as a month (hopefully much less). Currently the city is closed to all except first responders and essential personell at the refineries. I am reasy to get back home though.
