rack humidity??

sparky5969 Sep 14, 2008 02:57 PM

I recently switched my growing collection over to a rack system from tanks. When they were in tanks I kept the humidity at 60% with out a problem. Since switching to a rack the humidity is 80% or above is that ok or is there a way to reduce it. Prefer to keep it between 60-70%... Racks are from RBI and substrate is paper towels at this time any help is appreciated...

You can try putting more holes in the tubs, perhaps smaller water bowls -- the higher humidity shouldn't be a problem as long as you keep the tank clean and dry.

Drilled holes all around the tops of the tubs and it has brought it down.

I am going to add a few more holes to the tubs. was just concerned because condensation was forming inside the tubs didn't want it to cause any problems. Thanks to all who replied.
