ULTRA IVORY UPDATE PICS

bsr inc Sep 15, 2008 10:57 AM

this is a male that shed about 10 days ago--he i approx 200 grams and feeding really well. I am really pleased with how these are turning out. They are actually getting more colorful with yellow hues coming in and the ghostly white patterning that is on there sides is becoming even more clear--my pics suck, But we are pretty excited about these.

not a dumb question---probably a dumb answer though

truth is-I know how to make ultras, still trying to figure out the graphite ivorys though

graphite to het ivorys produced approx half normal looking ivorys and half Ultra ivories in every clutch he fathered--

Not sure how to make the graphites though---I will say I have one baby female normal that looked a little off to me, and I held her back--she just went through her second shed and she is grey flecked, so I am hoping it gets more intense like here dad. Time will tell.

Hmmm......

still sort of a "special female" kinda thing too then...LOL

.....I still gotta actually make a normal Ivory yet sooo....

.....I thought the graphites just happened from time to time in alot of ivories actually....?.....I was wrong......I know some ivories have different amounts of color to the head ? and different shades of yellow stripes?......could be wrong again...

....my YB from last year are really starting to scream yellow all over....nice......they didn't sell....so I kept them all.......none even asks about YB around here or at shows here.....wierd.......

sucks....YB,pastels,and ghosts are sooo underated and unwanted....LOL........poor little things.....

..........so , good luck.........Thanxx.........

unusual market---I sold every single orangebelly and graphite sired orangebelly I produced this year-I sold out before I even had a chance to bring them to expo. I could have easily sold another 20 pair. I thought the yb market was pretty good this year--I also sold quite a few pastels and a ton of mojaves--spiders and pins though have been moving on the slow side-
