Sri Lanka or Burmese?

stxlatina78 Sep 15, 2008 06:05 PM

Question for anyone who can answer. I have many snakes, but was wondering about one in particular. This I believe is a Burm but some have said that she resembles a Sri Lanka. Are there any characteristics that can distinguish one from the other? All responses are greatly appreciated.

Show us a couple of good clean head shots and Im sure someone can point you in the right direction. I could try to discribe the differences, but not looking to make a fool out of myself with lack of termonolgy.

The easy way is to count the supralabial scale's to the 6th & 7th and above these and below the eye there will be a subocular scale only in burmese, this is missing on the other molurus species.
but a pic will help, head color can be a give indicator too.
